I am so excited that I get to post this today – even though Spring seems nowhere near Nebraska, I know that once it starts getting warmer, it will happen quickly! I am just SO excited to feel the warmth of Spring and Summer and getting to do all of the outdoor things!!
For the last week or so, I have been designing & planning out what I’m going to do with our patio space outside. It’s honestly pretty small – maybe 5 x 10 feet at the very most! But somehow, it seems to be one of the most magical spots during the summer time. We live on the 3rd floor of an apartment & this is actually (hopefully) the last summer that we will be living in an apartment at all! So while I’m excited to find a house, I want to soak in one last season of summer in this little apartment of ours!

I am so excited about all of the pieces I was able to find & put together! I feel like the best places (& most affordable!!) to find outdoor furniture and decor this season is Target, World Market, and Amazon! I tried incorporating one of my favorite colors right now – copper/coral! I just love the simple pop of a fun color, especially during Spring & Summer 🙂
I want to explain my choices of decor a little bit, starting with the rugs! I think it would be so fun to do a layered rug – this colored rug on the bottom and a jute rug on top. I’m loving the rattan trend right now and I would absolutely loooove to get one of these gorgeous hanging chairs out there! We will see if I’m able to get one for summertime atleast 😉 I also really love this rattan side table – too cute!
Some fun extra accents I think would be perfect for the space this ottoman, string lights, these plant pots, and a fiddle leaf fig! It’s just so fun getting to think about decorating this space for a warm season 🙂 I also rounded up a bunch of other pieces I’m loving this season for outdoor spaces!
I can’t wait to start decorating and see how you guys decorate your outdoor spaces for the warm season! Come follow me along on Instagram to keep up with what’s going on in my daily life 🙂
