It’s finally here! The day that I have been hearing all about for months now – The 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It went live at 2AM this morning and there are more products than I ever could have dreams of! Y’all are right – this is a BIG DEAL! I didn’t wake up quite at 2AM 😉 lol but I did get up around 5AM to hunt down my favorite picks of the sale right off the bat!
These are all pieces that caught my eye immediately as I was scrolled through the hundred of products the sale has to offer! I really tried to focus on the basics to start building my closet for the Fall! Also, I found tons of home decor that I fell in love with – especially this Treasure & Bond Throw and Capri Blue Candle!! How could I not?! Also, are you seeing a common color theme here? lol! I am such a neutrals and basics person, so if you’re looking to build the base to your closet and home for Fall I have the perfect picks for you!

Home Decor: Tons of comfy, cozy home decor is part of the sale! My favorites were all of the throw blankets that were offered – I mean how can you go wrong with grabbing a cozy blanket or two for Fall?! There were also tons of rugs & bedding this. This Antique Collector Rug was my favorite that I saw! And also this Lman Accent Pillow….in love!
Accessories: I am definitely not a huge jewelry person, but lately I have been loving all of the earrings! Both of the earrings that I put on here are ones that I would definitely wear! I love the Gem Baublebar Earrings for a more formal event and the Madewell Hoop earrings for a casual outfit! The two accessories I cannot get over are the Madewell Crossbody and the Tyler Scarf…..seriously love both of these picks!
Cardigans & Sweaters: The cardigans……SO many great choices! I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of cute, but also super cozy cardis & sweaters offered! First of all, I am in love with the Oversized Waffle & Stitch Cardigan – it may or may not be in my cart 😉 it’s a perfect Fall basic! This Free People Cardigan is also a perfect choice for a basic cardigan for Fall! Oh my, let’s talk about the sweaters……my FAVORITES – BP Stripe Pullover , BP Textured Stitch V-Neck Pullover , Rib Funnel Neck Sweater – these are all perfect sweater options for the upcoming chilly season! And honestly all of them are at a killer price! Friends – RUN to these sweaters!
Basics: You can never go wrong with having those basic tees and comfy shirts for Fall! In the Midwest, layering is always a good idea 🙂 I am for sure buying this Raw Edge V-neck Tee – it is at a killer price and I have read so many awesome reviews on it! I’m also completely in love with this Socialite Thermal Henley Top & the Rib Long Sleeve Fuzzy Top (these will both seem quick)!
Shoes: This sale has tons of shoes – including some of the best booties for Fall! I really love these Steve Madden Bootie – I think they would be perfect with skinny jeans and an oversized sweater! I am also LOVING these Joe’s Martha Mule‘s – they are perfection!
Denim: One big thing I wanted to buy during this sale was denim – thankfully, these Free People High-Wasted Denim are on major sale! I have heard these are amazing jeans to wear with any outfit! Also really loved this Madewell Denim that was offered! Very trendy, yet could be a great staple for Fall!
Athletics: Loved allllll of the legging choices that are offered during this sale – these Zella Leggings are super popular and I have heard how comfy they are! Might be giving these a try! Also, there is a great selection of running shoes/sneakers!! My fave was by far this Adidas Sneaker!
