Hey friends! It is almost HERE! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale – TOMORROW! If you aren’t familiar with what the #NSALE is it is a sale unlike any other! It’s a sale that has BRAND NEW discounted Fall merchandise for a limited period of time. It’s the perfect time to start curating that Fall closet (especially in the Midwest!!) This will actually be my first time shopping the sale and I am so excited to see what it’s all about! I have just been hearing & reading so many great things – this sale is like a REALLY big deal!

WHEN CAN I SHOP THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
The 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is July 20th – Aug. 5th. I have heard that things go super quickly, like selling out in a matter of hours….so, the good news is that EARLY ACCESS actually begins tomorrow if you have a Nordstrom Card! And if you don’t have one yet, no worries! You can apply even right now and you will probably be approved within a matter of minutes (I literally just applied for one & got accepted right away!). And if you’re worried you won’t receive your card in time, you can actually access it ASAP after getting approved! The process for me was a whole 3 minutes!
July 12th: EARLY ACCESS to cardholders!
July 20th: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens up to the public!
Aug. 5th: Last day of the sale – prices go up on the Aug. 6th!
IN-STORE OR ONLINE?
I have heard online shopping is the way to go for this sale! This way you can browse through products on your own time and not have to battle the people in-stores (It will get CRAZY!!). Also keep in mind that returns & shipping are free 🙂 You can also use the in-store pickup option as well! Since I don’t have a Nordstrom near me I won’t be able to use that option! Make sure to check the catalog to get a good idea of the items on your list before shopping – that way you can have a little head start!

WHAT TO BUY
Like I said before, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale has tons of new arrivals for Fall! It honestly seems more like a steal than a sale lol! Since this is my first time ever being part of the sale, I can’t really tell you a strategy to go for yet, but I can tell you what will be offered for you to choose from! There will be items ranging anywhere from coats, handbags, home decor, sweaters, designer pieces…..and tons more! To get a good look at these items you can review the catalog here!
My best suggestion would be to go through your closet and see what Fall items you will be re-using from last year and what items you might want to switch out or add to your closet! For me, I will be looking at sweaters (yay for the freezing cold midwest!), high-quality denim (hopefully Madewell), and new booties for Fall!!
