Happy Wednesday, my friends!
How is everyone’s week coming along? Thankfully, it has been SO nice here in Nebraska…yesterday it got up to 84 degrees in Omaha! Crazy, right!? We spent most of the day relaxing outside & soaking up a little sun 🙂 it was so refreshing!!! In today’s post I want to share something I have had a few questions about….my favorite podcasts! Specifically business-centered podcasts!
Since becoming an entrepreneur almost 2 years ago, I have had plenty of time to seek out certain business resources, tools, blogs, and podcasts that have really helped me grow! I think it’s SO important to have resources you can count on to keep learning & growing your business, especially as a creative entrepreneur. I always try to find resources that are mostly focused on things like blogging, online business, creative businesses (blogging, virtual assistance, feelancing, etc.), since this is the type of business I run!
For those who don’t know, I’m a full-time virtual blogger assistant to 8 different bloggers & obviously, a blogger myself! I focus on helping them run their Pinterest & Facebook accounts to drive traffic to their blog & increase affiliate sales. I also do other things like freelance graphic design, sponsored posts on my Instagram & blog, and sell thrifted/gently used clothing items on Poshmark! Hopefully, I will be writing another blog post on my journey with this, since it has almost been 2 years already 🙂 Now….time to share some of my favorite creative business podcasts!
Goal Digger Podcast – You guys, this podcast is complete GOLD. Jenna Kutcher is the genius behind this podcast, as well as her seven-figure online business – she definitely knows what she’s doing! Jenna shares so many amazing tips about not only online marketing & business, but she’s also an amazing photographer (it’s kind of her niche!). She talks all things creative business, but also talks about thinks like marriage & motherhood, which I love to hear about too! She finds a really great balance with it all. A few things I’ve learned from her podcast are marketing tricks, email list building, and branding tips. I think she has like 300+ episodes…..perfect for listening during quarantine!!!
She Podcast – Loooove the She Podcast! Jordan Lee Dooley records this podcast & I just love her! She has so many great tips for helping women work online from home and isn’t afraid to share real life. She started her creative business journey as an Etsy shop owner (like me!!) & boomed from there. She has basically done it all – Etsy, memberships sites, clothing line, online courses, published books. She has so much experience in tons of different business aspects, that’s why I value her knowledge! Her book – Own Your Everyday – is one you have to check out, too.
Blogging Unscripted – If you’re a blogger, you will loooove this podcast by Danielle Gervino! Danielle is a lifestyle blogger & actually works full-time still at her 9-5 job (I have no idea how she does it!). She shared SO many great tips & tricks when it comes to blogging, like REALLY good ones. There aren’t a ton of podcast episodes to listen to, but trust me when I say they are all gold. My favorite episode is the one where she talks about boosting your Instagram engagement. She actually shares step-by-step processes to help you! SO good.
