First of all, y’all – you are going to LOVE me for this one. Seriously – How to Make Your Home Smell Like Christmas is actually the easiest thing ever.  AND all of the ingredients cost around $7 to make several batches of this amazing holiday scent!  Does anyone else spend hours at Bath & Body searching for the best holiday candles?  Yep, me too.  Trust me, I definitely still LOVE candles, but this is a quick fix if you are waiting for your fave candle scent to come back into season…

Not only does this mixture smell festive & amazing, but it looks pretty Christmas-y too….

I realllllly love super simple recipes and things that can make your home feel cozier within minutes.  And who doesn’t want their home to smell better & feel cozier!? The ingredients for this festive mixture are fresh, simple, & cheap!  All you need for this aroma is:

A couple of Oranges

Fresh Rosemary

Cinnamon Sticks

Fresh Cranberries

Water

For each mixture I use about 4-5 slices of Orange, 2 stems of Fresh Rosemary, 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks, 1/3-1/2 a bag of Fresh Cranberries, and about 3 cups of water.

First, I add all of the dry ingredients to one pot and mix it around, while adding the few cups of water.  Turn your burner up to high and bring the mixture to a boil.  Once it reaches a boil, turn your burner down to simmer and let the Christmas aroma take over your home! Trust me – you won’t regret it. 🙂

I don’t know if this is weird, but after I was done simmering my batch for the night, I put the lid over my pot and stuck it in the fridge.  The next day – it smelled just as fresh!  I would say 2-3 days is probably the max to keep re-using the mixture before it all turns to mush. lol. But hey, it really does smell amazing!
