Magnolia Market Adventures

A couple of weeks ago my husband & I decided to make the trek from Houston to Waco to explore the Magnolia Market ( my dream….).  Literally, I have wanted to visit Waco for as long as Chip & Jo have captivated America’s hearts. So, when they announced they were creating the Magnolia Market at the Silos I knew that I would make it there someday!

Y’all – seriously any which way you look around at the Silos, there is some bit of inspiration for your home.  This fireplace mantle display on the top was one of my favorite set-ups in the Market.  The neutrals, the patterned fireplace, and the vases completely tie this space together!  I’m not exactly sure how they patterned the tile, but one of my DREAMS is to DIY our floor one day with a painted pattern tile.  I have seen so many tutorials on it and it has become a big goal of mine. (If any of you have done this with your floor I would LOVE to read about your experience! Comment below :)).  On the bottom is a variety of different dishes displayed & creative ways to use these dishes as not only dishes, but pieces of decor.  Anyone else just totally think Joanna is a design genius?????

I loved how they have added different parts to the Silos like the ‘Seeds+Supply’ and the ‘Magnolia Silos Bakery’! Because it was one of the busiest weekends of the year (lol, Baylor’s Homecoming), we unfortunately did not get to try any items from the bakery (the line was soooooooo long, must be good), but it is definitely on our list for next time!  The Seeds+Supply store was just the cutest little thing and it gave me so much inspiration!  Another dream of mine is having my own garden, but because we live in an 800 sq. foot apartment with a teeny tiny (but adorable) patio, it just doesn’t have a ton of room for plants….although, I could definitely see myself rocking one of Jo’s ‘Plant Lady’ tees in the future. 🙂

I just adore my sweet little family for making the trek with me & being adventurous! One big reason I loved being at the Magnolia Market was the feeling of overwhelming happiness and excitement from everyone.  The visitors were just so happy to be there & the people that were working the shops and food trucks just totally made my day – they just seemed so excited to be there!  Overall, we had such a wonderful day and would love to visit the Silos for a day in the future! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram & Pinterest for all kinds of decor inspiration and ideas!

So thankful for y’all –
