Hi sweetest friends! Wow, can you believe it’s already JULY?! It seemed like just a few days ago it was the beginning of June & I was starting to plan alllll of the fun summer things! Well, we have had a ton of fun this summer and I wanted to share with you all a few things that I have been seriously loving along the way. These are thing that I used all throughout the month of June & am loving too much not to share with you. Today I bring to you my June Favorites + $750 Nordstrom Giveaway at the end of this post!!! These 6 items are things that I had with me constantly all throughout June (especially this moisturizer) & after thinking about it, I don’t think I’ll quit keeping them near! 😉 I think it’s so important to add a couple of new things to your wardrobe/beauty routine/library/home every month! There is just something so refreshing about enhancing your closet with a new summer staple piece and maybe switching up your skin routine a little for the summer weather!
Closet
I love adding new things to my summer closet! I don’t usually add a ton of clothes, but the things that I do add to it, I end up wearing all summer long! This year I decided to add a few dresses to my closet that I knew I could wear to various events like weddings & graduations (including my college graduation!! woo!!). I bought a subtle floral dress (mine is sold out, so linked a similar one!), this adorable striped t-shirt dress (super affordable), & my FAVORITE dress ever (on sale!!). Y’all, I have worn these dresses several times throughout May/June and I get compliments almost every time – they are all such good buys! Also, I have been eyeing this romper FOREVER and it’s on sale….I think I’m just going to buy it, guys!!! You can always use a casual/classy black romper, right?! 😉

Accessories
It’s the same thing with accessories! I am always looking to add a few new items to my list of accessories! I love this accessory organization bag that I have, too. It helps me keep track of all the little pieces! This summer I added a big straw tote bag to my list of accessories & it has come in SO handy! Nathan’s parents have a lake house, so I thought it would be the perfect bag to take to the beach! Also, if you’ve seen some of my recent posts, you can also decorate with straw bags! It’s a unique way to use what you have in your home to decorate! I have also really been eyeing these earrings lately. You can pre-order them here!
Home
Adding items to your home is something that is SO important to me! If it’s going to make your home cozier….buy it!! Well, if it meets your budget! 😉 This month I bought a few items that helped make our space cozier – I really feel like our little apartment is coming together! The BIG thing we bought…..our new platform bed (see more about it in this post)!!! This has made the biggest difference in my sleep schedule because before we bought this, we were sleeping with our mattress on the floor….lol. #newlywedlife At the beginning of June is when we actually got a new mattress too & I am never going back. We upgraded to the Leesa mattress and seriously guys, it is the BEST thing. I had no idea that I could actually miss a mattress lol. But every time we are traveling or gone I am always wishing we were in our new bed! I would highly suggest testing it out and you can even test it for 100 nights risk free! If you aren’t sure if this mattress would be for you, I would definitely test it out first using this option!

Beauty Routine
Because the weather during the summertime is so much different than the winter/spring (In Nebraska the Spring is just basically Winter lol!), I figured that it was time to switch up my face-washing routine just a little bit! I had heard about and read so much on the Neutrogena Hydroboost Cleansing Gel and the Neutrogena Hydroboost Moisturizer that I knew I needed to try it for myself! Since I bought both of these products they have not been out of my sight! I love how light & refreshing the cleansing gel is – it has made my beauty routine so easy. The moisturizer is also just so light and refreshing, it’s perfect for summer! The next best beauty purchase I made in June is this dry shampoo. IT. IS. SO. GOOD. You know how some dry shampoos just don’t cut it? Well this one it amazing & lasts quite awhile!
Library
Adding to our library is something that I think about often, but really need to start doing more of! I always forget how relaxing it is to just sit down with a good book and a fresh cup of coffee. The Magnolia Story isn’t a book that I added to our library in June, but one that I read atlas twice a year! It is one of my favorites and I highly recommend it! I take this book to the lake/coffee shop/our front porch/all over! A book that I did recently add to our library is Lysa Terkuerst’s Embraced Devotional and I am so happy that I did. I had seen it all over the place and I knew this was the next devotional I wanted for my mornings! This book is best with a hot cup of coffee, a blanket, and a warm candle. 🙂 I am really looking to add more books to our library – comment some of your favorites for me to try!
