Somewhere In Between French Country & Farmhouse

Wow – 1 year ago from today this is TOTALLY not where I thought I would be.  (Um, me, a blogger?  You’re kidding, right? lol) Seriously though, guys.  This thing, the thought of blogging, just popped into my mind one day (definitely God tapping on my shoulder).  It all started with a thought about my passion for decorating & this awkward season of life I am in right now.  Y’all, I LOVE decorating.  And even though my husband & I are just starting out as a newlywed couple and me still in college, I still find my ways to decorate 😉 which, I am ecstatic to share with you, friends!

To start off my blogging adventure, I thought I would post about what I know & enjoy the most.  Decor.  ‘Somewhere in Between French Country & Farmhouse’ could be considered my tagline actually, as I have always loved both of these styles & through my decor journey my goal is to combine the two! I have compiled some of my most favorite & inspiring pictures from different decor+lifestyle bloggers that I have loved following (ahem, *stalking*).  All of this inspo is Somewhere In Between French Country & Farmhouse. 🙂

Y’all, look. at. this. gorgeous. office.  UGH office of my dreams!  The simplicity of this space is what gets me.  I love the farmhouse style 3D textures, like the centerpiece on the wall (I think that is a footboard?? How creative!) This space was designed by The Farm Fresh Homestead .  Whom, I adore.  She not only blogs about decor, but also gives us glimpses of her life.

I literally just cannot get over this space, or the rest of this jaw-droppingly, gorgeous house.  The elegance & the coziness of this space is. just. incredible.  I sooo look up to Liz & her design style! Please go follow the Liz Marie Blog. She is most definitely one to follow – an amazing home & and incredible story.  Also she has a pet sheep.  Yes, an adorable, fluffy pet sheep.

This kitchen, this space, is anything & everything.  You know what I just can’t get over?  THE PATTERNED FLOOR. Omg. Seriously, that takes courage to have a bold pattern on your floor.  AND to do it yourself.  Guys – Brooke did these floors herself.  Um, incredible?  No, just absolutely a-mazing.  Please for follow her blog, Nesting With Grace.  She does life with so much grace & is just such an elegant person!

The last blogger that I am writing about is Erin from Cotton Stem.  Guys, just look how creative this piece is.  Erin is truly a genius when it comes to decorating ‘somewhere in between french country & farmhouse’.  She not only blogs about decor, but she also does a lot with fashion & just inspiration. The Cotten Stem blog is definitely one to follow if you are needing a boost of creativity or a pick-me-up!

Thank you so much for reading my very FIRST ever blog post, I hope you enjoyed it.  I wouldn’t say I totally even know what I am doing when it comes to blogging, but I am learning!  Like I really don’t even know if I did this right (lol). Thanks friends, for sticking with me through this new journey. 🙂

xo, Tristen
