I just love doing these blog hops because they give me SO many ideas throughout every season! Today I’m giving you a tutorial on making a DIY Cozy Treat Filled Sock Gift!
When I was coming up with a gift for this blog hop, I wanted to do something that wasn’t a total craft, but that wasn’t also just an item completely ready to gift! I like the idea of the DIY sock gift because you can customize it without having to go into full-on craft mode. So basically, it’s a DIY, but you really don’t have to make anything 😉
The fun thing about gifts like this is the fact that you get to buy all of the little things – to be honest, the little things are my favorite. Growing up, my absolute favorite part of Christmas morning was seeing what was in my stocking! Everything in it just always seemed like a little treasure to me, so I tried to recreate that – in an adult version! Basically the point is to stuff as much into the socks as you possibly can!
Let’s talk about what you need to make this DIY Treat-Filled Sock Gift:
Socks: I got these chenille socks at Target for $3!! They are seriously the softest socks ever! I also really love these socks – they are amazing!
Ornaments: Since it is a Christmas gift, I though it would be fun to add a few ornaments! I added this Polka Dot Heart Ornament & some ornaments that are part of the Merry Lane Ornament Kit! I am also SO in love with this Agate Ornament!
Bath Salt: This bath salt set would be the perfect size to fit into the socks! Anthropologie also has an amazing bath salt!
Bath Bombs: I really love these bath bombs – they are some of the best! This set of bath bombs is also a good option!
Moisturizer: Shea Moisture is my absolutely favorite lotion/body wash/moisturizer/basically everything. Adding in a face mask, like this mud mask, is also a perfect option!
Lip Balm: This Mario Badescu lip balm is one of my faves – and it comes with a hydrating facial spray, which I use every single day! It’s especially perfect during the winter months.
Candyyyy!: Honestly anything from the Wondershop candy & treats at Target! Or, my personal favorite, Lindor Truffles (yes, I’m definitely drooling).
Some other places to find little treasures to put into your socks are Anthropologie & Nordstrom. Both have darling little gifts to choose from!
After I bought everything I needed for the gift, I added a little touch of this darling pom-pom ribbon! I think it’s the perfect piece to add!
