HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Can you guys believe that it’s 2019?! I’m still in shock that it was even 2018! Before starting my post for the day, I just want to say a quick thank you to all of my readers for showing up – you have no idea how much I appreciate each & every one of you! I am so thankful God has brought this little corner of the internet in my life and I’m even more grateful that I get to share it with all of you. We had the best time the past few weeks seeing family & friends! I took about a 2 week break from blogging and a 1 week break from Instagram, which was so good for my mind & heart – it’s the best way to get refreshed & feel re-inspired!
With the new year a few days upon us already, I’m bringing you my first blog post of 2019 – today we are talking all things planners! Planners are so important – my planner may actually be one of my most valuable essentials of running my business. lol. Without it I am completely lost & honestly wouldn’t be able to get much done during the day!
A few weeks back I did a poll on Instagram to see what kinds of planners you are all loving & you guys gave me some reallllly good ones to research 🙂 Today I’m going to show you 3 different planners that would be perfect to kick-start your new year & for you to choose from! Funny enough, I’m kind of a planner snob. If that’s even a thing lol! I have had so many different planners over the years & by far my 2 faves have been the Day Designer & Simplified Planner. You’ll notice that both of these planners are a little on the pricier side, but I promise – it is SO worth it to have a high quality planner! One planner that I see sooo many people talking about is the Erin Condren Planner, so I’m excited to share all of the details on it with you!!
BEST PLANNERS FOR 2019:
This planner reigns my #1 choice! I had this planner when I was a Sophomore & Junior in college and LOVED it so much! For all of you hourly planners – this one is especially for you! You literally get an entire page per day with half being your hourly plan section and the other half a to-do list. If you aren’t super into the hourly or daily editions, they also have weekly planners! But hurry, they sell out super quickly! I personally am in love with this brand because of the lady behind it: Emily Ley. I just love what she stands for as a person & she has done some pretty amazing things! If you want to learn more about her and what she stands for, her book ‘Grace, Not Perfection’ is amazing!
Not only does she have planners, but tons of accessories! Here are a few more planners + accessories I’m loving from Simplified Planner:
The Erin Condren Planner is the one planner that I have never used out of these three, but after doing my research I can already tell that I’m in love! It seems that quite a few people really love her coiled LifePlanner! The amazing thing about her planners is that you can customize them based on your preference of a daily or hourly planner – I usually go for the hourly because I see more productivity by following an ‘hourly’ schedule; especially working from home!
To make planning fun, there is also a variety of accessories that you can grab as well! I really love these tab stickers, this grocery list snap-in, and these cute planning markers. I had this planner in college at some point and I remember just really loving it – I actually still have it! lol Their main planners are also daily/hourly, but they also offer a wide variety of weekly & monthly planners too! I really love the Day Designer planner because they not only focus on productivity, but your goals. At the beginning of the planner there are several different sheets to fill out for goal setting, which is always a bonus!
